Nikki Glaser claimed Tom Brady knew what he was getting himself into when he signed up for his roast on Netflix. Despite feeling sorry for his kids, the master comedian argued that they don’t tend to hold back during such events.

While appearing on Tuesday’s segment of Today with Hoda and Jenna, Glser cast doubt on Brady’s recent statement that the roast would not affect his family and children. In fact, she believed that the retired NFL quarterback must have realized it at some point.

I think Tom Brady does not do anything without doing his research and knowing exactly what he’s getting into.
Niki Glaser said.

The 39-year-old added that it was impossible for an individual who has won seven Super Bowls in his career to foresee that his wife and kids would be in the mix in some way or another. This wasn’t the first time someone famous was roasted on live TV.

It’s impossible to me that he didn’t consider what could have happened because there’s roast footage out there that you can watch and go.

Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, was unhappy that her family was dragged in. Even the 46-year-old later confessed to feeling uncomfortable about some of the jokes.

Will Tom Brady do another roast show?

Judging by the responses of his family members, especially his kids, he would have to think and rethink several times to sign up for another roasting gig.

Glaser revealed that they were instructed not to include jokes about Brady’s children. She admitted cutting a few, including one with Brady kissing his oldest son, Jack.

However, it appeared not everyone got the memo and did not spare Vivian and Benjamin. Renowned comedian and actor Kevin Hart joked about Brady and Bundchen’s divorce and her recent rumored romance.

Gisele [Bündchen] said, ‘You retire or we’re done.' But when you’ve got a chance to go 8–9 and all it will cost you is your wife and kids, you’ve got to do what the fu*k you’ve got to do... Fu*k them kids!
Kevin Hart said during the show.

Brady reportedly had enough roasts for a while. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback on The Pivot Podcast proclaimed:

I liked when the jokes were about me, I thought they were so fun. I didn’t like the way they affected my kids. It’s the hardest part about. Like the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way. And then all of a sudden you realize I wouldn’t do that again because of the way that it affected actually the people that I care about the most in the world. It makes you in some ways a better parent going through it. I’m going to be a better parent as I go forward because of it. At the same time, I’m happy everyone who was there had a lot of fun.

Brady has more pressing matters to attend to. Earlier this week, FOX released the schedule for his much-awaited debut. The 15-time Pro Bowler would kick off his broadcasting career by calling the 2024 Week 1 game between the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys.
