Stephanie Vaquer had to overcome a towering Raquel Rodriguez to keep her women’s world title reign intact on this week’s Raw. Not only did she have to contend with the physicality of Rodriguez, but Vaquer was also fighting an uphill battle with Roxanne Perez at ringside. However, Nikki Bella had the champ’s back. It allowed ‘La Primera’ to put away Rodriguez.

Perez sneak attacked Vaquer after the match ended, but Bella was nimble enough to thwart any further damage on the former CMLL star. The WWE Hall of Famer hugged it out with the Chilean wrestler after eliminating the Judgment Day members from the ring. However, after Vaquer turned around, Bella tattooed the women’s title on her face. What a betrayal!

The former Divas Champion started acting cocky and even posed with the women’s world title before throwing it over a grounded Vaquer. Bella hasn’t played a heel character on WWE programming in a very long time. Now that she has signed up for that role, it speaks volumes about her willingness to not be treated as an afterthought, no matter if the year is 2025.

‘The Beautiful Bomber’ is clearly gunning to regain the pole position in the current landscape of women’s wrestling in WWE. While it’s a long shot from happening, she could at least silence her naysayers by putting over up-and-coming stars, and that’s expected of her in the feud she’s about to have with Stephanie Vaquer.

The fans could expect ‘The Dark Angel’ to accept a challenge from Bella for the women’s world title at Survivor Series on November 29. It’s even more likely to happen at this very PLE due to it being held in San Diego, which happens to be the WWE HOFer’s hometown.

Even though the chances of Nikki Bella beating Stephanie Vaquer for the women’s world title are slim, WWE may go ahead with it as an experiment to gauge how much she has left in her as a top-tier talent. The expected showdown between the two at Survivor Series could work in Bella’s favor due to hometown advantage.

Moreover, crowning the 41-year-old as the new champion would open up a ton of exciting matchups for her. One of the most anticipated bouts for Bella if she ends up taking the title off Vaquer is none other than the one with Liv Morgan. It’s important to note that the two of them were on a collision course before the Judgment Day member got sidelined with a shoulder injury.

The best-case scenario for Morgan to insert herself back in the title picture would be her winning the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble match and challenging Bella for the women’s title at WrestleMania 42. That’s not certain by any stretch but could be an interesting option given that Morgan and Bella have history.

Bella recently feuded with Becky Lynch over the women’s Intercontinental Championship. They had some intense faceoffs with ‘The Man’ dragging her opponent’s personal life elements into it. Lynch referenced The Fearless One’s failed relationship with John Cena in one of the promos that spiraled into their match at Clash in Paris. At the PLE, ‘Big Time Becks’ ended up retaining her title in a heatless affair.

The fans didn’t enjoy it as much as they would’ve expected. A section of them pinned the blame on Nikki Bella for not being competent of having a great singles match this deep into her career. Having said that, if she were to hold a title anytime soon, there’s a massive chip on her shoulder that she’d have to deal with.
