CJ Perry has often talked about her family supporting her in her journey from being an actress to a wrestling manager and then a professional wrestler herself. One such person in Lana’s life was her grandfather. The 39-year-old recently posted a video telling her fans about him suffering from cancer.

WWE superstar Nikki Cross made sure to send her support to The Ravishing Russian and her family. She expressed how sorry she was to hear the news. Furthermore, she said that she was thinking of Perry and her family and that her grandfather sounded like a wonderful individual.

CJ Perry revealed that her grandfather was suffering from cancer at the age of 93. He had gotten extremely sick due to the chemotherapy he was undergoing. She talked about how her grandfather would come to WWE shows to support her granddaughter in her journey of breaking into the wrestling industry.

The Russian Princess said that he was the sweetest and kindest grandfather she could have ever asked for. Furthermore, she requested her fans to keep her grandfather in their prayers as the family goes through this tough time.

Nikki Cross reveals photos of her graduation alongside future academic goals

A little-known fact about Nikki Cross is that apart from being a WWE wrestler, she is also an academic. In a recent Instagram post, the 35-year-old shared photos of her graduation. She had finished her graduation from MSc Masters in History in June 2023.

The formerly known Nikki ASH had obtained her master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh. Her master’s dissertation was on the subject of women’s wrestling. Apart from this, she also has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Glasgow.

Further, the 2021 Money in the Bank winner revealed that she was working towards her PhD. Her aim was to complete it by 2029. Many of her colleagues, including Liv Morgan, Charlotte Flair, and R-Truth, congratulated her on her accomplishments and wished her the best in her future endeavors.

Cross has not appeared on WWE programming for nearly seven months. She appeared on an episode of Monday Night Raw in October. The female superstar interfered in a Trick or Treat Street Fight between Chelsea Green and Natalya. While she played a minor role in a women’s battle royale in November 2023, the 35-year-old has not been seen since.
