The Denver Nuggets faced Boston Celtics in their latest encounter, wherein their marquee duo of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic combined to knock 68 points. Yet, the Boston Celtics topped them by 13-point margin victory. With no significant help from any other player, Jokic and Murray were left with all to do throughout the court. With Celtics combining at every opportunity, Nuggets could not reciprocate the same. 

Talking about the Boston Celtics, their marquee players turned up to in a much-needed encounter to get a crucial victory. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker all drained decent contribution that saw the Celtics finally win after a rough patch of form. Brown led the Celtics with 27, while Tatum scored 21 and Walker added 17.

After their previous victory against the defending champions, Los Angeles Lakers, Nuggets seemed to be the favorites heading into this game. But little did the fanatics know about the teamwork on display for the Celtics. Talking in particular about Nikola Jokic, he scored 43 points, yet ended up being on the losing side.

Nikola Jokic had his way with the Celtics in the first half, swishing tear-drop shots in the paint, drawing fouls, and draining 3-pointers. He went to the break with 29 points on 10 for 12 shooting, including 3 for 3 from beyond the arc. 

The Celtics received a bit of a scare when Walker went down after appearing to hurt his left shoulder on a Jamal Murray screen. Boston called timeout and Walker received medical attention. But he was back on the court soon after, apparently just suffering a stinger.
