After the game and participating in the compulsory post-game press conference, Nikola Jokic made a statement that has since gone viral on social media.

The Denver Police confirmed that they had made contact with the victim, and whether charges would be filed is unknown. This has contributed to why his brother is now in the clear.

Furthermore, how this scenario would affect the Nuggets’ big man is uncertain; we know now that he is fully focused on helping the Nuggets retain their title. They can advance to the next round once they dispatch the Lakers in the next game in two days’ time.
