‘No bad blood between me and Kyrgios’ Rafael Nadal squashes beef with Nick Kyrgios

Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios are quite the famous duo. They have played some excellent tennis together, but haven’t always seen eye-to-eye. In fact, Kyrgios has often tried to rile up Nadal by disparaging him in the media. On the other hand, Rafa’s former coach, Toni Nadal has often picked on Nick as well, as he does with most players, even with his own nephew.
The 25-year-old once branded Nadal “salty” and called him a “bad loser.” Even though such is the case, Nick recently showered Rafa with compliments. He called the Spaniard “the most dominant player of this era.” Moreover, Nick seemed to showcase his change of heart for Rafa when he ultimately deemed him “an absolute champion.”

Rafa is slated to compete in Rolex Paris Masters 2020. The 20-time Grand Slam Champion recently expressed that he has no beef with Kyrgios. Further, he put to bed any and all questions about his feelings regarding grudges.
But something astonishing happened recently. In an interview, Nadal put aside everything with Kyrgios and said that it was something that had been created by the media.
In his pre-match interview, he stated, “They say I don’t get along with Kyrgios. That’s not true.”
Moreover, Nadal commented on an incident where he told Kyrgios how he had to say certain things. He added, “I once told him what I had to say, and that was it.”
The 13-time Roland Garros champion is not one to have bitterness regarding anyone. “Truth is that I get tired to keep grudges,” he stated.
Rafa now heads on to start his campaign at Paris Masters. Kyrgios, on the other hand, will most likely be seen in action at the Australian Open 2021.
