Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley are different from the other Celebrity couples. It’s normal for couples to share photos together on social media but Aaron and Shailene are different. “They have a different, non-traditional relationship,” a source close to the actress, tells PEOPLE. The couple met each other through mutual friends who are musicians and started dating each other.
Woodley said when asked about dating during the pandemic – “There was a sense of anonymity that otherwise, I don’t think we would have had. We were really able to get to know one another the way we wanted to get to know one another and not have any noise or chaos around us.”
Is there trouble in paradise for the couple?
Aaron Rodgers just celebrated his 38th birthday on 2nd December without his leading lady. Fans were worried about the couple being together when the actress failed to post a birthday wish for the Packer’s QB on his birthday. This gave rise to questions regarding the couple’s relationship status.
“Shailene and Aaron are still together. It’s not odd they don’t post about each other on their birthdays in that sense, and are very private about things,” the source told PEOPLE magazine. This is the very example of the couple’s “Non-Traditional Relationship.”

Nobody knew the couple was dating until they revealed it themselves
Fans first heard the news about the Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and The Fault In Our Stars actress Shailene Woodley when Rodgers thanked his fiancée during his speech while accepting his MVP award. So after, Shailene Woodley confirmed it on February 22 on the show Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. ‘Yes, we are engaged. But for us, it’s not new news, you know? So it’s kind of funny. Everybody right now is freaking out over it and we’re like, ‘Yeah, we’ve been engaged for a while,” she said while showing a glimpse of her ring.

Shailene Woodley clarifies rumour about fiancée breaking the COVID protocols
Rodgers was heavily criticized when it became known that the 2020 MVP was not vaccinated and had tested COVID positive. He was fined $14,650 for violating the Covid-19 protocols by the league. He was then quarantined in California. There were images of Rodgers breaking the quarantine and strolling through California. Shailene Woodley came to Rodgers’ recuse and defended him. “Literally, y’all need to calm the f— down,” she posted on her Instagram stories, hinting the photos were not him. “This is straight-up HILARIOUS.”
