Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic‘s Gold medal celebrations continued until late Sunday (August 4) night. The former World No.1 prevailed over Carlos Alcaraz in two tiebreak sets to achieve the lone thing missing from his CV.
In line with the tradition of previous Roland Garros champions, Djokovic was seen celebrating at Siena restaurant. This is the same restaurant where Alcaraz celebrated his maiden Roland Garros title two months ago.

Paris has been Djokovic’s least statistically successful city in terms of Grand Slams. He has only won three Grand Slam titles at Roland Garros out of his 24 overall.
However, he has won 11 tournaments in the French capital. Alongside three Roland Garros titles, he has won seven Masters 1000 titles in Paris Bercy and now the Olympic Gold Medal.
Novak Djokovic withdraws from the National Bank Open
World No. 2 Novak Djokovic will miss the National Bank Open starting on Tuesday, August 6. He is skipping the tournament due to his busy schedule at the Paris Olympics.
Djokovic is a four-time champion of this event but has not won the Canadian Masters since 2016. He last played in the tournament in 2018. Carlos Alcaraz will also miss the Canadian Masters. Both Djokovic and Alcaraz played in Sunday’s Olympic Gold medal match, which Djokovic won in straight sets.
Jannik Sinner will be the top seed at the National Bank Open. He is preparing for his first Masters 1000 title defense after beating Alex de Minaur last season.
