Novak Djokovic recently made a decisive four-word declaration about Wimbledon after training with Jannik Sinner. The Serbian pro had been contemplating his participation in the Grand Slam, but his latest update suggests his decision is almost certain.

Ever since touching down at Wimbledon, Djokovic has been training with other ATP players. At first, he played a couple of tie-breaks with Argentine player Federico Coria before amping up the training by playing against Frances Tiafoe. Now, the Serbian has even trained with World No.1 Jannik Sinner and gives his fans a minor update ahead of the Grand Slam.

He also gave a thumbs-up when asked about his participation next week. After a 50-minute training session with Sinner, the Serbian is sure to have felt better and might play the Slam, which is set to commence on the 1st of July.

If he manages to return on time, it will be a redemption campaign for him to grab his eighth title here after missing out on the opportunity last year in the finals against Carlos Alcaraz. Djokovic had previously revealed that he would only play if he felt like he could win the Championships, and if the Serbian makes a return, then he cannot be counted out as a contender for the title.

He even attended a live interview there, where the Serbian revealed the name of his favorite soccer player. While listing out the Greatest Of All Time in every sport, Djokovic named Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the football G.O.A.T. for him.

Now, only one question is left to be answered by Djokovic, his participation in Wimbledon. Ever since he picked an injury at the French Open, there has not been any news about his participation in the Championships. Although he was seen wearing a gray band on his right knee, a proper update was yet to be received.

With the Paris Olympics coming right after Wimbledon, it is to be seen if the Serbian will follow Rafael Nadal‘s path and train for the Olympics or play the third Grand Slam of the season and try matching Roger Federer’s title win record.
