Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns sure know how to make a statement. The duo came out of the latter’s shocking trade to the New York Knicks and attended the second game of the American League Division Series. Not just that, the two honored the match by wearing the team’s jerseys.
On Monday, the New York Yankees went head-to-head with the Kansas City Royals at Yankee Stadium. The new Knicks man and the social media influencer attended the game and sported Yankees jackets. Woods posted a couple pictures on her Instagram handle and added an apple for a caption. The comments section understood the assignment and WNBA star Angel Reese chimed in with the public.

While both gave a tribute to the Yankees, the one Jordyn Woods wore was from the 2009 championships. During the game, Karl-Anthony Towns and Woods were welcomed by the mound by getting featured on the jumbotron. The display immediately gathered a huge applause from the audience. However, it was tough luck for the Yankees fans as the team lost 4-2 to the Royals.
Reese wasn’t the only person to give the couple a welcome in New York City. Olympic champion Sunisa Lee, Minnesota Timberwolves’s star WAG Jeanine Robel and others too joined the party. Reese and Woods have gotten pretty close in recent times. Last month, the Chicago Sky star also attended Woods’ 27th birthday celebration.

The new Knicks star recorded 10 points, four rebounds and two steals in 15 minutes. later, Woods updated her fans on the story telling them about her lack of sleep in 24 hours because of her hectic schedule.
