Manchester United progressed to the Europa League semi-finals when the Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer declined to speak regarding speculated transfer candidate Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United has joined Italian side Inter Milan in the Europa League’s last four.

The 95th-minute penalty of Bruno Fernandes sealed a semi-final clash with either Wolves of the Premier League or Seville’s La Liga team.

However, the attention changed to the 20-year old England star who was heavily linked with United after being offered a five-year deal. The German side wanted United to pay a £108million bill.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc regarding Sancho stay with the German club, told the press:

“We plan on having Jadon Sancho in our team this season, the decision is final. I think that answers all our questions.”

Solskjaer on Sancho replied:

“I can’t comment on other team’s players, I can’t do that. You know that. I never do.”

“I am delighted that we’re through, I think we deserved to win tonight. It could have been one of those nights that you ended up with a penalty shootout. They made it hard for us.

“It’s a good team we played against, well organised. They had a gameplan – we knew they were going to be hard to break down. We knew we would get chances.” – Solskjaer as he was delighted to see his team through.
