Manchester United had a fairy tale end to their last season except for their Europa league and FA Cup defeats. Ole gunner Solskjaer took charge as the full time manager of Manchester United in March 2019. Under Ole Manchester United finished third and reclaimed their UCL spot.

But recently Manchester United has been receiving severe backlash from its fans as they failed to make sufficient transfers in this transfer window. Apart from it their first round defeat to Crystal Palace fueled the burning fire. In his recent interview ahead of the Brighton game Ole talked about the fitness of Eric Bailly and also about the transfer window.

Manchester United have no injury concerns ahead of their game against Brighton. Eric Bailly who is often prone to injuries is fit and available for their next game. He made his first appearance of the new season against Luton in the EFL Cup.

Speaking on Eric Bailly, Ole said, “Eric is fit again, it’s a big bonus and plus for us. I’m looking forward to seeing him develop and play more games. We have been waiting for him to be fit and play more regularly.”

Disappointing transfer window for United

Manchester United have been one of the most inactive clubs this transfer window. With serious reconstruction required both defensively and in the front United managed to make only one new transfer. United’s signing of Van De Beek wasn’t enough for their fans. Their fans were furious as the club was not able to sign their target transfers like Jadon Sancho and Ben Chillwel.

When asked about the transfer window Ole Gunner Solskjaer unsurprisingly evaded the topic. He replied, “I am very confident in my players. In football we can’t predict too much. My focus is solely on the game. We need three points on Saturday, then we can talk again.”
