The Olympics is reaching the last couple of days. Karate which made its debut this year, will go into its final day on the 7th of August. It will kick off with the Women’s +61kg Kumite, beginning at 2:00 pm local time. And then it heads to the men’s +75kg Kumite at 5:00 pm.
Just two big events are lined up for the day. The medal events will begin at 7:20 pm in the night. Since, it is the final day for Karate, the events begin a bit late, well into the afternoon.
Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 Karate Live Stream – August 7 Preview
World No.1 Irina Zaretska of Azerbaijan and World no. 2 Feryal Abdelaziz of Egypt will be the ones to watch out for. Zaretska takes on Ayumi Uekusa of Japan, whereas Abdelaziz takes on Li Gong of China.
In the men’s Kumite +75kg, Ugur Aktas of Turkey, the world no.1 will take on Gogita Arkania of Georgia. World no.3 Ivan Kvesic of Croation takes on Daniel Gaysinsky of Canada.

Where will Karate be held at the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020?
Karate at Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 will be held at the Nippon Budokan. It is known as the Spiritual Home of Martial Arts. Located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, this venue has a capacity of almost 14500. It was opened in the year 1964 for the Tokyo Olympics 1964. It was renovated last year ahead of the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
