American sports commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan along with his fellow mate Tony Hinchcliffe ripped Keith Olbermann for his take on former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines on X (formerly known as Twitter). Rogan recalled an old August post where Olbermann, a co-sports commentator, insulted Gaines questioning her swimming abilities.

Olbermann stated that the 23-year-old “sucked at swimming” and that’s why she “lost” to trans athlete Lia Thomas during the 2022 NCAA race. Needless to say, his comments gained Gaines’ attention who later fired back her response. Until recently, when Rogan called Olbermann “this insane fuck” the August situation was deemed as solved.

On X, Rogan said he couldn’t believe it as Olbermann questioned Gaines’ ability. He praises Gaines saying “she’s an amazing athlete” and he’s proud of how “she makes a video in response” to show off all her awards. He stated on X:

Riley Gaines corrects Joe Rogan’s statement following his comments against Keith Olbermann

Joe Rogan “owing” Keith Olbermann in a recent X post gained more than 4+ million views. He stirred up fans online until Riley Gaines made another X post where she corrected Rogan’s mistake of saying she “lost” to Lia Thomas. She boldly stated she didn’t lose against a “man posing as a woman” but they “tied” instead.

Since the conclusion of NCAA 2022, Gaines has continued to support women in sports against participation in trans athletes. She’s been a spokesperson for women’s safety and rights and so far influenced many athletes across the world. On X, she wrote:

Olbermann needs to be institutionalized asap & btw, I didn’t get beat by the 6’4” man posing as a woman. We tied. Which is even more embarrassing for him ?.

Gaines’ post once again ruffled up the online community as fans continued to comment on how Olbermann has been continuously fired from his job. To add further to the fire, Rogan’s guest questioned, “I would love to know what f***ing soup he’s been eating or what’s in his diet…”

Kieth Olbermann’s post against Gaines gained much online fan community hatred and blasted the 64-year-old. Gaines who’s been fighting against trans participation has many times stood against Congress to urge them to ban trans participation in women’s sports. What the future will hold is yet to be seen, but her strong voice is sure to play a huge part in the future of women’s safety in sports.
