“This is disturbing,” Riley Gaines BRUTALLY hits out at Lia Thomas as NCAA champion dons ‘Antifa Super Soldier’ costume

The rivalry between two former NCAA swimmers Riley Gaines and Lia Thomas continues to grow. The two have emerged as influencing figures on opposite sides of the fight regarding the topic of trans athletes’ involvement. Thomas was recently spotted donning an “Antifa Super Soldier” shirt. Gaines has now slammed her again and called the move disturbing.
The ex-Kentucky swimming athlete has become an advocate for women’s safety in the past few months. She has time and again gone up against the authorities and organizations for their poor treatment of women and female athletes. She is keeping a close eye on Thomas and was quick to react to this latest development by the NCAA swimming champion.
“I haven’t specifically bashed Lia Thomas on anything (other than calling him an entitled narcissist which I stand by) because ultimately he was following the rules in place. But this is disturbing,” Gaines tweeted out while hitting back at her rival. On multiple occasions, Gaines has called out other female competitors to join in her fight against Thomas and other trans athletes.
Lia Thomas yet to offer statement following recent backlash
Lia Thomas first grabbed headlines when she became the first trans athlete to win the NCAA championship. Since then she has been bashed several times by users for taking part in the first place. In May she called out her critics as “transphobes“. She has once again created a huge debate on social media for wearing the “Antifa” costume.
According to several reports, Antifa is a political movement comprised of left-wing activists. They are reported to be against Nazi authority, nationalism, and white supremacy. Thomas wearing their costume led to many suspecting her to be their supporter. Another factor that makes the group dangerous is their violent stand on trans people.
As per many users, the group is called to have a huge belief in trans ideology. They do not like those who go up against this. “Antifa” are alleged to believe that critics of these ideologies should be silenced or murdered. Former US president Donald Trump once called the group to be labeled as a “terrorist organization.” His plan was never fulfilled though.
Thomas wearing their costume has attracted negative comments towards her. While she has not responded to any comments following this, people were quick to slam her again. It would be interesting to see what Thomas has to offer on her behalf following this huge development.
