Simone Biles is offering a peek into the construction of her ideal residence. The decorated Olympic champion took to her Instagram on Friday to update her new abode in Texas, which she is erecting with her spouse, Jonathan Owens. Biles also gave a peek to her followers a preliminary view of one of the more spacious chambers within the residence.

Captured in the first image of a series, a beaming Biles is seen holding the keys to the property, with the photograph angled to showcase the intricate foundational work of the walls and ceiling. The frame also prominently features a set of large, pre-installed sliding doors.

Subsequent images afford a clearer glimpse of the area, highlighting smaller windows positioned near the ceiling and sizable glass sliding doors beneath. Once finished, the architecture suggests this area may serve as a living room or another expansive communal space, also indicated by a fireplace installation.

Biles continued the visual journey by presenting a smaller space with transparent sliding doors opening onto a patio, offering views of lush foliage and a body of water. Additionally, one image displayed her construction boots caked in dirt next to a pair of sleek black Prada slides.

Progress toward completion was further underscored on her Instagram Story, where Biles shared a snapshot of drywall installation over the wooden frame of one room. The emotional athlete accompanied the visual with a teary-eyed emoji and the words “We have drywall”.

This update marks a leap from the prior month on her Instagram Story, where she showcased the freshly plastered external portions of her house amid leveled soil. That update also revealed the raw wooden beams and the framing for sliding doors inside the home.

Advancing the home tour, Biles depicted a doorway and burgeoning high ceilings, jokingly pondering whether these represented the corridor of her dreams or nightmares.

In September, Biles and her partner Owens, an NFL athlete aged 28, began teasing the construction of their shared home with a series of updates, including snapshots of them interlocking hands on the site and Owens pacing through the vast, empty corridors of their future domicile.

The pair solidified their union with a legal ceremony at Houston’s 1910 Harris County Courthouse in April, followed by a more elaborate wedding the subsequent month in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

In a series of endearing photographs on Instagram marking their civil marriage ceremony, she declared her legal union with the caption “officially Owens.” Meanwhile, Owens mirrored her sentiment on his own Instagram, presenting an array of intimate snapshots from their vows exchange, alongside the caption “My person forever,” accompanied by the hashtags #TheOwens and #ItsOfficial.
