Olivia ‘Livvy’ Dunne is one of the emerging college athletes in the United States. She was part of the USA national gymnastics team in 2017. Currently, she is a part of the Louisiana State University in the NCAA. She is much loved and adored by her fans for her superb athleticism and skills.
Lizzy has many young fans who never hold back on supporting their 20-year-old emerging icon. At the Jon M. Huntsman Center, as LSU faced their first season defeat in Salt Lake City, Olivia Dunne requested her fans to respect every athlete and gymnastics. The fans took this seriously and respected her request. Lizzy made an appearance to make her words clear, even though she did not feature in the starting lineup of her team.
The reason behind Dunne’s sudden request for the fans was an unfortunate incident that took place with her teammate. Dunne’s mother posted about this incident on social media, where certain fans acted rudely and disrespectfully towards one of her teammates.

Olivia Dunne is one the most famous gymnasts and social media personalities within the college athletics scene in the United States. Hoards of fans came to support Livvy, holding up Dunne-centric posters at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City. They still came to support her even though she wasn’t a part of the LSU lineup.
However, Dunne’s mother posted about an unfortunate incident with one of Olivia’s opponents from Utah. Jillian Hoffman and her mother were “disrespected” by some of Dunne’s fans. As Hoffman’s mother said that they were swarmed by crowd as soon as they stepped out along with her teammate.
They said “you are not Livvy” but still pushed me to click a picture. She further remembered, the crowd calling Dunne “Livvy 2.0.,”
“They literally said to their faces, you are not Livvy but you will do, can we get a picture. [The group] also called my daughter Livvy 2.0. They were so rude and disrespectful.”
Concerns also arose about the safety of the LSU gymnast team when a large group of teenage boys surrounded their bus at the event venue. Josh Furlong reports that the LSU bus had to move away from the site so that the team members would not run into the group of boys. Furthermore, police were also stationed next to the bus to avoid such discrepancies.
Dunne currently boasts a large social media following of millions of followers. She also ranks at the top of On3 Sports’ list of female NIL moneymakers. Her current estimated value from her performance, influence, and exposure is around $2.3 million.
