The LSU Tigers gymnast and social media star Olivia Dunne is considered one of the most promising gymnastics athletes in the United States. However, Livvy had missed out on most of the matches this year due to an injury.
Although she would be present in all of the LSU games this season, she was sidelined from the team for recovery and a healthy return on her healing. It seems Dunne has recovered from her injury and is back on track with practicing with her team.
On her TikTok, she constantly updates her fans and followers about her daily life and fitness videos. In one of her latest videos, it can be noticed that she is perfecting her swing during practice. She is donning a Wonder-Woman-inspired leotard with a protective boot around her leg. Dunne was ruled out from participating in all competitions due to an injury she sustained in December.
Olivia Dunne, now 20, was also a former US National team athlete until she quit in 2017. LSU Coach Jay Clarke recently updated Dunne’s injury status, saying that her leg had recently flared up after the last match against Arkansas. The coach counts at least two weeks till Dunne can be seen back in action with her LSU teammates.

Olivia Dunne preparing for a grand return post-recovery from her injury
In December, Olivia Dunne’s injury ruled her out from all the matches played up until now by the LSU Tigers in 2023. Although the LSU Junior is still present on the sidelines with her teammates, she can’t return to the field until she completes her recovery.
Using her social media, Livvy constantly updates her fans about her daily life and fitness routine. Following the same suit, she recently posted her practice routine on the uneven bars while recovering from her December injury.
It seems like Livvy is very much back on track, given how she perfectly swings on the bars wearing her Wonder Woman-inspired leotard and a boot around her leg. The TikTok was captioned, “getting back into the swing of things :)” with Kendrick Lamar’s HUMBLE playing as the background song.
In the recent LSU matches, security concerns have become a significant issue for the team and coach Jay Clarke. Dunne has over 10 million social media followers across all platforms, and the fan frenzy surrounding her creates a huge ruckus at the match venues. Clarke had previously notified that the team busses would be provided extra security and police protection to prevent fan hooliganism and unruliness.
