Sandra Sanchez Career Achievements
Sandra Sanchez’s dominance in the women’s kata events began way back in 2015 when she won the gold medal at the European Karate Championship, Istanbul. The same year she also defeated Sandy Scordo, France at the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Her dominance continued as she won the bronze medal in the 2016 World Karate Championships held in Linz, Austria. The next year, in Wroclaw, Poland, she won the silver medal in 2017 World Games. Here she faced defeat at the hands of Kiyou Shimizu, Japan.
2018 was another successful year in Sandra Sanchez’s career as she won not one, but two gold medals – European Karate Championships held in Serbia and World Karate Championships held in Spain. 2019 turned out to be an even more remarkable year as she won Gold medals in – 2019 European Karate Championships, Spain, 2019 European Games in Belarus and the 2019 World Beach Games in Qatar.
In 2021 she has already secured a gold medal in the 2021 European Karate Championships held in Porec, Croatia. Now, she is all set to represent Spain at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in Individual Kata.
