Takeru Segawa and Superlek Kiatmuu9‘s impressive showdown at ONE 165 entertained fans worldwide. Meanwhile, Kiatmuu9’s brutal kicks took their toll on Segawa’s body. Here is what happened:

Superlek Kiatmuu9 left Takeru Segawa limping with a torn thigh during a ONE Championship event in Tokyo. The Japanese kickboxer was clearly hurt but continued to fight. Kiatmuu9 retained his ONE flyweight kickboxing world title. Meanwhile, the Thai fighter damaged Takeru’s lead leg so badly that he was limping around the ring at the end of the fight. Takeru later posted a picture of his purple-colored thigh on social media, revealing he had a torn thigh.

Superlek Kiatmuu9 is a Muay Thai fighter and the current ONE champion. He is also a former two-weight Lumpinee Stadium champion and the former WBC Muay Thai Super Featherweight World champion.
