Paige VanZant and Rachael Ostovich meet again in their fighting career, but only this time they will be throwing punches in the other’s way with bare knuckles. Both the former UFC stars will face each other at BKFC 19.

Paige VanZant and Rachael previously clashed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship where VanZant emerged victorious, as she won the fight in the second round via an armbar submission. This fight went down in 2019. Now, two years later they meet at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. This fight was made official by BKFC yesterday at 10:49 PM on their Twitter.

This is Rachael’s first outing in the new promotion after signing a deal with BKFC in the month of April. Meanwhile, VanZant makes her second appearance for the organization has already made a debut. Ostovich was released from the UFC following a 1-3 run in the octagon.

While Rachael is fighting in the BKFC for the first time, VanZant has an edge over her with having already tasted what the BKFC is like. Paige VanZant took on Britain Hart earlier this year and lost via a lopsided unanimous decision. The former UFC star seemed to struggle in the first outing but kind of got to grips in the final round of the fight.

VanZant also has the psychological advantage over Rachael having won in their previous outing. Paige is seeking her first win in BKFC and will be fired up to do so. BKFC have hinted that there a lot more exciting fights that will be added to BKFC19. The fight still does not have a location but fans are expected to be in attendance.
