Babar Azam has a huge and loyal fanbase in Pakistan, with his fans hyping up the Pakistan captain whenever they can. Unfortunately they caused a popular actress to make her Instagram account private after she said she didn’t want to marry Azam. 

Nazish Jahangir is a popular TV actress who regularly appears in many popular shows. She held a Q&A session for her fans, where she was asked if she would marry Babar Azam. Jahangir said she wouldn’t, which angered many of Azam’s fans.

They started trolling her on the app, which led to the actress putting up a story. She defended herself, claiming he and all Pakistani players are her brothers and it would always be the same. Unfortunately the trolling didn’t stop, leading to Jhhangir putting her Instagram account private.

Babar Azam confident for 2024 T20 World Cup 

Babar Azam was recently reappointed as Pakistan’s white ball captain, replacing Shaheen Afridi. The captain, who had resigned after a poor 2023 ODI World Cup, is now confident for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup.

His first assignment is against a depleted New Zealand, who are currently touring Pakistan for 5-T20Is. After an army training camp in Kakul and 12 matches before the World Cup, Azam believes in his team. 

We will ensure to get our preparations done with great vigor. We have 12 matches prior to the [T20] World Cup. We had a great fitness camp in Kakul and are looking forward to expressing ourselves as a unit.

Azam also stated that the probables for the NZ series would be the same for the World Cup, with no changes. But he hasn’t ruled out any special selections, citing the amount of time they have. The two sides have played three matches so far, with the scoreling being 1-1.
