The latest Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event emanated from the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. The Great White North has always been quite a hotbed for WWE. The promotion organized two PLEs in the country last year, and Elimination Chamber 2023 even took place in Montreal. However, it appears that Pat McAfee doesn’t appear to be a huge fan of hosting events there.
During the beginning of the Elimination Chamber live feed, the commentators were hyping up the matches and segments scheduled for that night. Pat McAfee said that this was the most stacked that these Chamber matches had ever been. However, he called Canada a terrible country for booing the US National Anthem to start the show. Regardless, he claimed that it was going to be a historic night for WWE.
As is the case with every WWE Premium Live Event, Elimination Chamber 2025 started with a rendition of the United States national anthem. However, the Canadian crowd began booing loudly when Elizabeth Irving was singing the anthem. The live crowd then changed moods completely and began cheering when she started to sing the Canadian national anthem.
Kinda sucks that it’s in the terrible country of Canada that booed our national anthem to start this entire thing but it’s gonna be a historic night for the WWE on the road to WrestleMania.

The venue of the Elimination Chamber, the Rogers Centre, is one of the most prominent sporting arenas in Canada. It is home to the MLB’s Toronto Blue Jays. Furthermore, the arena is historic in the context of WWE. It has hosted events such as WrestleMania XI and WrestleMania 18, which featured iconic matches such as The Rock vs. Hollywood Hogan. This venue will once again be remembered for hosting John Cena‘s heel turn.
CM Punk pranked Pat McAfee by trapping him in a porta potty ahead of WWE Raw
WWE is filled with superstars playing pranks on each other both on and off the screen. Something similar happened recently ahead of the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. CM Punk recently shared an Instagram video that featured Pat McAfee trying to get out of a porta potty after the Best in the World turned it against a wall.

After McAfee finally managed to get out, CM Punk asked him what went wrong. The football analyst replied, saying that he had no idea. He was going to the restroom and suddenly felt a shake. The 37-year-old added that regardless of this incident, he “didn’t miss a single drop.”

While this situation was hilarious for Punk, he unfortunately did not have a good weekend after this incident. The Second City Saint lucked out and got to enter the Elimination Chamber in the last spot. However, his rival, Seth Rollins, was looking for revenge even after being eliminated from the match. He hit the Chicago native with a Curb Stomp, allowing John Cena to capitalize and pick up the victory.
