Ever since Patrick Queen decided to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, it has led to some back and forth between him and his former team. Naturally, the Baltimore Ravens and Steelers have a long-standing rivalry that has caused this discontent. Therefore, the jabs have not stopped as Queen has taken the opportunity to hit back at former teammate Marlon Humphrey after his viral message.
Marlon Humphrey took to his Punch Line podcast to talk about his former teammate. The former All-Pro gave Queen a reality check.

Reality sets in eventually. I hope it’s great over there. But you know sometimes, I’m just saying, I’ve seen it once or twice.Marlon Humphrey said
That was Humphrey’s version of saying that the grass might not be greener on the other side. Leaving the perennial playoff-bound Baltimore Ravens for other franchises usually does not work out in terms of winning games.
To this Queen posted a video on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, showing him watering the green Steelers football field. Suggesting that he is already on the greener side of the grass.
Patrick Queen has insisted that he moved to the Pittsburgh Steelers as he wanted to play for the storied franchise. Having already played for the Ravens, it seems he wanted to be on a team where he would be the best linebacker on the team.
Patrick Queen to lead Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense
With Queen’s arrival, he takes up the most important position on defense, the Mike linebacker position. A position from where he has to help dictate how the Steelers’ defense will react to the opposing offense. At the Ravens, he was overshadowed by 1st-team All-Pro Roquan Smith. In Pittsburgh, he will be in Smith’s position.

The Mike linebacker position demands that the player not only cover blades of grass to tackle opponents. But also understand the offensive scheme in place, look for signs of any apparent adjustments and relay that to his teammates. Any communication breakdown or if he is unable to understand the offense will result in a defensive collapse.
The Pittsburgh Steelers of the past had a reputation for having some of the best defenses in the NFL. With Queen singing with them, he will look to lead the defense back to the glory days.
