New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is a passionate owner. Someone who loves to win, and at the same time hates to lose.

During his former favorite player Tom Brady‘s roast, Kraft decided to take the chance and rip Russian President Vladimir Putin for causing Kraft to lose something. Towards the end of his slot during ‘The Roast of Tom Brady’ on Netflix, Kraft delivered a rather passionate rant.

Robert Kraft had to go after the Russian President for taking his Super Bowl XXXIX ring. Anybody who has a Super Bowl ring will cherish it for life. As Netflix is viewed all across the globe, it was the best opportunity for Kraft as national television might not make it to Russia.

Robert Kraft went on a business trip to Russia in 2005 where he met the President Vladimir Putin. In a bid to gain some brownie points, Kraft’s business partner suggested the Patriots owner to show the Super Bowl ring to President Putin, which he did.

However, after viewing the ring, as Kraft put out his hand to ask for the ring back, the Russian President slipped the ring into his own pocket. Robert Kraft could not ask for his ring back due to diplomatic reasons. Which is why he took probably the only opportunity he could find, to ask for his precious ring back.

After how everything ended for Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick last season, everyone had one question in mind. How is their relationship considering now considering all that has been coming out in the media. Comedian, actor and host of The Roast of Tom Brady decided to bring the two together to find that out. As Kraft and Belichick came close to the podium, the Patriots owner had a few lines to say.

I want to say, this is the greatest coach in the history of the game. That did what no one else has done. And having Tom Brady and him was the greatest honor the good Lord game me.
Robert Kraft said

Then they raised a toast with a round of shots. Bringing out loud rounds of applause from the fans.

It goes to show that probably their relationship is not as fractured as some of those rumors painted it out to be. It also shows that they have mutual respect for each other, and Kraft is appreciative of whatever Bill Belichick has done for his team for the past 24 years.

Therefore, the Roast of Tom Brady allowed Robert Kraft to get two things off his chest. One was to call out President Vladimir Putin for apparently stealing his precious Super Bowl ring, and second was to publicly appreciate his former head coach.
