Paul Heyman has dipped his toes into controversy following Survivor Series: WarGames. A clip has gone viral where the WWE Hall of Famer could be seen shoving a kid away from him while he was heading to the back with Logan Paul.
The internet is divided over Heyman’s contentious handling of the situation, with most of the fans slamming the 60-year-old. They are arguing that ‘The Wiseman’ could’ve been nicer to the child, who ran up to him but got pushed in return, almost in disgust.
Some Heyman defenders have come up with the rationale that the legendary manager just leaned into his heel character and nothing more. How has the incident been received backstage in WWE? According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, there’s no actual heat on Heyman.

In fact, it was pointed out that the arena security was in the wrong for letting anyone reach The Vision’s mouthpiece. Prior to it, the show went exactly as Heyman would’ve wanted. The crew of five that he assembled for the WarGames match featured his longtime associate Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed.
I'm told by WWE sources there was no real heat on Paul Heyman pushing a child out of his way at Survivor Series. There was more heat on security for allowing anyone to get to him.

They opposed Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and The Usos in the most stacked WarGames match ever. The ending of the match saw a masked man climbing the cage and eventually delivering a super kick to Punk. The anonymous figure also delivered a Curb Stomp to ‘The Second City Saint’.
After doing that much damage, the man in a black hoodie ran away from the spot, thus allowing Breakker to blast Punk with a spear and get the win for his team. For what it’s worth, that closing sequence felt deflating, and it sucked the air out of a 46,000-strong Petco Park in San Diego.
Paul Heyman is confident about The Vision main eventing WrestleMania 42 after WarGames dominance
After a statement-making display of strength and resilience by his men at Survivor Series, Paul Heyman went on the post-show and gloated about it. ‘The Oracle’ stated the obvious in his mind, which makes him believe that The Vision will main event next year’s WrestleMania. Heyman noted that Bron Breakker pinned the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk inside WarGames.

It’d have been remiss on Heyman’s part if the former ‘Special Counsel’ to Roman Reigns didn’t flex about the fact that The Usos, whom he regarded as the greatest tag team of all time, got neutralized by his men too. ‘The Mad Genius’ also took immense pride in boasting about Brock Lesnar destroying Reigns with a thunderous F-5 at ringside.

‘The OTC’ did get his lick back on ‘The Beast’ when Reigns speared Lesnar through the table inside the ring. Last but not least, Heyman added injury to insult by claiming that Cody Rhodes suffered defeat in a match that was a brainchild of his late father. It’d have been so cathartic for Heyman to see Rhodes lose, as the latter vowed to take down every creation of Heyman a few days before WarGames.
Paul Heyman avoids answering burning questions during Survivor Series post-show
The mystery of the masked man who basically handed the win to Paul Heyman’s disciples inside the WarGames structure at Survivor Series is yet to be unearthed. Trying to milk out a response, Joe Tessitore explicitly asked ‘The Wiseman’ who that was in the black hoodie and whether or not he was Seth Rollins.

The Vision’s manager wondered how he would know who had that mask on, given that the anonymous figure was completely covered. Next up, Peter Rosenberg asked Heyman if his working relationship with Logan Paul would extend further or if it was a one-off bit for WarGames.

The Oracle answered glibly and said he didn’t know about the identity of the masked man. In essence, the New York-born wrestling manager ducked everything that was directed at him and took the easy way out. The fans might get a lot of their queries answered as early as tonight on Raw.
