Paul Pogba admitted that the final straw in his relationship with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United. It was a photo sent by Mourinho to his agent Mino Raiola. Pogba’s departure from Old Trafford in the summer occurred after he became frustrated with the lack of opportunities he was being offered, even though he was receiving a sizeable salary of £300k a week.

However, this wasn’t the first time that Pogba had a negative experience at United. When Mourinho was at the helm, his rapport with the midfielder deteriorated due to several disagreements. The last match he oversaw as Chelsea boss was a defeat by Liverpool. Pogba was famously excluded from the starting eleven, with Mourinho not believing he could turn the tides.

The relationship between the two ended following a ‘breach’ that had occurred when the World Cup winner was injured and in the process of rehabilitation in Miami. “It started when I got injured. I said I was going to Miami for rehabilitation,” the 29-year-old says on his new Amazon Prime Video documentary series Pogmentary.

He added, “A paparazzi took a photo of Zulay [Pogba’s wife] and me. Jose sent the picture to Mino [Raiola]. I wouldn’t say I liked that at all. He said he’s on holiday when we are working. I told Mourinho are you serious? I’m injured. I train three times a day here. Who do you think I am? It was new to me to have an issue with my coach,”.

Mathias Pogba, brother of Juventus star Paul Pogba, has been freed from Villepinte prison on Friday, his lawyer Yassine Bozrou has confirmed. Mathias had been held in custody following accusations of blackmailing his brother.

Although a prior petition to release him was denied in October, he has now been allowed to leave the prison. He is still subject to judicial review and cannot leave the country. Mathias Pogba cannot communicate with his mother, Yeo Moriba, and brother, Paul Pogba, due to a complaint of potential extortion filed in July.

The situation garnered public attention after Mathias released a set of social media posts where he accused his brother and suggested he had enlisted a witch doctor to cast spells on his colleague, Kylian Mbappe. As a result, Mathias is not permitted to post anything on social media.

Paul Pogba returned to Turin in the summer after his agreement with Manchester United expired. Unfortunately, he was then struck by a meniscus injury in pre-season and had to go through surgery. He had to miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar with France. Massimiliano Allegri has given a concerning update on the midfielder’s condition, with his return to the pitch still uncertain.
