Paulo Costa too has been subject to trolling and steroid accusations because of his humongous physique. However, he has played into the accusations often seen carrying a bottle of colored liquid with the label “secret juice” that he drinks from time to time.
Paulo Costa is learning from Robert Whittaker loss for fight against Sean Strickland
Paulo Costa started off 2024 with a unanimous decision loss against Robert Whittaker at UFC 298. Costa is looking to learn from his mistakes and take the teachings into his upcoming fight against Sean Strickland. Costa recently sent out a tweet on X where he addressed his mistakes from the Whittaker fight.

Costa wrote that he had rewatched his fight with Whittaker and realized that he needed more rhythm and strokes. He wrote that he tried to hurt Whittaker more even if it meant lesser shots rather than keeping him busy with the hits. Costa aims to change this and writes that he is going to be a “machine hitter” in his next fights.
Paulo Costa will fight Sean Strickland next. The fight will happen this June in Newark, New Jersey at UFC 302. Both fighters are coming off a decision loss and are guaranteed to put on an entertaining fight. It will be interesting to see how Paulo Costa implements his learnings from his loss against Robert Whittaker at UFC 302.
