Peterborough United vs Manchester City: Peterborough faces Manchester City at the ABAX stadium in Round 5 of FA Cup.

The first half ended 0-0. Peterborough managed to stop City from scoring in the 1st half but not for long as Mahrez and Grealish helped City to double up the scoreline and win the game easily. Foden provided 2 amazing assists getting involved in both the goals.

Steven Benda (5.7/10): The home side keeper gave a bad start. He couldn’t stop the 2 goals hammered by City.

Josh Knight (6.5/10): Had a decent game tonight. He covered the defence area quite well making timely interceptions.

Frankie Kent (6.3/10): The captain didn’t perform at his level best today. All he could do is just clear the ball ahead to prevent the danger.

Ronnie Edwards (6/10): Didn’t manage a good start today. Mahrez managed to cut past him quite easily.

Joe Ward (6.2/10): Played a decent part in midfield today. Was substituted in the 2nd half with an injury.

Jorge Grant (6.2/10):  Grant lost the ball possession more often. He didn’t manage to make an impact properly.

Jeando Fuchs (6.6/10):  Went for a great shot from distance almost leading to a goal by deflection. Was probably the best in midfield today for Peterborough

Hayden Coulson (5.9/10): Same story as Coulson was also poor today. He failed to impress properly into the midfield.

Kwame Poku (6.8/10): Poku got involved in some good opportunities for goal but didn’t convert them. He used his pace advantage to run forward well.

Ricky Jones (5.6/10): Jones was not at the best form today. He’s well known for the game changing goals but his magic didn’t work against City.

S.Dzmodics (6.1/10): Started the 2nd half good aiming for an early shot. Was pretty good in the attack and had a good game today.

Substitutions:

J.Marriott(6.2/10): Create some efforts to attack after entering but didn’t get the results.

R.Brown (6.1/10): Got adjusted to the mid area well and tried to built the attack.

J.Clarke-Harris (6/10): Got only 1-2 chances to move ahead with the ball. That was his only contribution in the game.

H.Burrows (5.9/10): Didn’t make much of a difference as he entered late.

B.Mumba (5.9/10): Didn’t make much of a difference as he entered late.

Manchester City

Ederson Moraes (7.3/10): The City keeper had a good start today. He managed to stop the incoming deflection shot drived by Fuchs getting a hand to it.

O.Zinchenko (7/10): Got a lot of opportunities to head forward. Missed the necessary chances heading the shots wide.

Ruben Dias (6.1/10): Got into very less action today. He got only 1 chance to move ahead and ended up crossing the ball pretty wide.

Nathan Ake (6/10): Received the 1st yellow for a poor challenge. Didn’t perform at his level best today.

Joao Cancelo (7.5/10): Cancelo got involved giving up a good attacking support. He headed forward more often helping in with the crosses.

Ilkay Gundogan (7.6/10):  Was good with the corner deliveries. He got some good shots on target.

Fernandinho Luiz (6.8/10):  Didn’t play much of a good part. Only got some chance to help with the passes.

Riyad Mahrez (7.9/10): was the most active player to be seen in the attack. Gave City the breakthrough placing the ball easily towards the bottom corner.

Jack Grealish (8.3/10): was shining well with his dribbling ability. Managed a great first touch and scored the 2nd goal.

Gabriel Jesus (6.9/10): He was surrounded by defenders every time he tried to head forward. Tried some good attacks but didn’t get the results.

Phil Foden (9/10): Started the game bad during 1st half. Ended up providing 2 brilliant assists getting involved in both goals.

Substitutions:

Stones (6.2/10): Didn’t get much to perform after entering as City attack was good.

Laporte (7/10): Missed an open chance for a goal. Covered the area well after entering.
