MMA world reacts to Petr Yan’s DQ loss to Aljamain Sterling!

Things were going really close and then the unexpected happened. Petr Yan struck a massive illegal knee on a grounded and helpless Aljamain Sterling, completely knocking him out cold. The fight was immediately stopped and Aljamain Sterling was handed the bantamweight title. It became the first time a title-change took place due to a disqualification.

A lot of fighters expressed their displeasure at how things panned out, since the knee from Yan was clearly illegal. Some showed their support to Aljamain Sterling, since he didn’t seem accepting of the title. Here are a few Twitter reactions.
