PGA Championship payout: How much money did Justin Thomas win at the PGA?

Justin Thomas

American golfer Justin Thomas gave a tough fight against fellow American golfer Will Zalatoris in a play-off and won the USA PGA Championship at Southern Hills.

Thomas trailed by seven at the beginning of the day but at the end, he posted a three-under 67 to set the clubhouse target at five under. Thomas was one over after six holes on Sunday, but had four birdies in his final holes as he found himself at the top of the leaderboard. Thomas equalled John Mahaffey’s record of coming from seven behind to win the 1978 US PGA title in a play-off.

Of course, with the big win also came the big prize money, not only for him but for several golfers who bravely took on the course.
