Tristan Thompson wanted to set the tone of practice
Thompson was a part of the historic comeback Cleveland Cavaliers made in 2016 against the Golden State Warriors. Being 29-years-old, Thompson adds more than just his size and strength in a team. Thompson clearly took note of LeBron James’ leadership abilities and wants to use that in order to help this young Celtics team achieve their full potential.
With players like Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker in the side, Thompson can be very impactful all over the court. There is no doubt Thompson could well be a leader playing for the Celtics like many senior players have earlier shown.
But it is all up to time to tell whether or not Thompson finds his peace of mind with the Celtics. Until then let’s focus on the regular season which would start from December 22. Boston Celtics has a very important match to start off their regular season, playing against Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks on December 24.
