Jon Jones once again took the hard route to give a reply to his arch-rival Daniel Cormier. D.C. and Jonny Bones have been fighting each other over the G.O.A.T debate and the drug issues that Jones faced during his UFC carrier. Jones shared a series of the tweet to mock Cormier after he eliminates him from the G.O.A.T debate.

Cormier replies to him by reminding him about his double championship status. He says, “Dummy, after I lost to you, while you were on PEDs mind you, I won back the 205 titles, then won the HW title, then back surgery, then Stipe beat me 2x. Sure sounds like quitting, huh? I’m 41 years old. Let’s see what you’re doing at 41, you loser. I can’t wait.”

D.C. very strongly believes that the loss against Jones is one of that moment in his carrier that he can never forget and he accuses Jones that if he wouldn’t have used PED’s in that fight the result would have been different.

Right after D.C. pointing fingers at Jones, we knew he would reply and he did exactly the same thing. In the tweet directed towards Cormier, he says “And then there’s this, always makes a great closing argument. Don’t talk shit and I won’t have to be so mean. Poke the lion and I may just hurt your feelings I’m here all day ladies and gentlemen”.

He also added, “Nope, these boys are going to think twice before mentioning my name in interviews, there will be consequences.. I’ve been hearing the same few insults for years, I’m ready for all the smoke”.

Maybe Cormier will learn this time that there is no way to poke Jones and get away without getting some burns.
