Items in Pokemon Unite serve to power up the Pokemons in many ways when fighting on the battlefields. Here is all about the Pokemon Unite Focus Band and its uses in the game and effects on Pokemons.

Items are an interesting aspect that unlike most MOBA games, players cannot build with in-game money as the game progresses. Players get to choose 3 item combination that they want to take on a certain Pokemon, right at the start of the battle or simply preset it.

The Pokemon Unite Focus Band had been introduced in the game with its release and is a great item for survivability in the game.

The Focus Band is a item that focuses on survivability and healing the user Pokemon when they are low on health.

This Item can be used on almost all the Pokemons as it is a great option in any point of the game. The item is especially good on Attackers and tanky that heal and have a deception style playstyle.

Some examples of Pokemons that it can be used on, are Greninja, Sylveon and Snorlax.

Players do not need to spend real money in order to get the item. The Focus Band can be bought with either 1000 Aeos Coins or 625 Aeos Tickets in the Aeos Emporium, which is the Store part of the game.

It can also be upgraded upto Level 30, with Item Enhancers. Players need a total of 2587 Item Enhancers in order to upgrade it fully.

The Effect at Level 1, reads, “When the Pokemon drops to low HP, then each second for three seconds, it recovers 8% of the HP it had lost.”

It can be upgraded till level 30 and these are the enhancements:

  • Level 1: 8% HP restore for 3 seconds
  • Level 10: 11% HP restore for 3 seconds
  • Level 20: 14% HP restore for 3 seconds

It will also give the players a combined 30 Special Defense and 30 Defense in addition to its special effect when fully upgraded to level 30.
