Portugal ace Cristiano Ronaldo on who’ll win at UFC 254: Khabib vs Gaethje

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje is just around the corner and the world can’t wait. The two will face off at UFC 254, on October 24 at Flash Forum on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Various notable people have begun picking the winner of the fight. The most recent celebrity to weigh-in on the Khabib vs Gaethje fight is none other than Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo. He believes that Khabib will come up trumps against Gaethje.

Probably the greatest footballer ever, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently under quarantine as he recently tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The star footballer has always been a massive MMA fan, and has a cordial relationship with a lot of notable fighters. He is friends with Conor McGregor and Dilon Danis, and of course Cristiano is a massive fan of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Their friendship dates back to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid days; as Khabib is a huge Real Madrid fan, he often visits the Santiago Bernabeu during his time off.

Speaking to fans on Instagram Live, Ronaldo responded, when he was asked who will win at UFC 254 matchup between Khabib and Gaethje, saying, “Of course, of course, Khabib gonna win! My brother! Inshallah! ” It is hard to bet against the “Eagle of Dagestan” isn’t it? Khabib will be backing his grappling skills and precision when he takes on Gaethje, who in turn is a great wrestler as well; having been a champion at collegiate level wrestling.
