Tottenham vs West Ham ended in 3-3 draw in the premier league. Tottenham raced to a 3-0 lead in the first half but West Ham came back strongly to equalize the match at the death. Harry Kane scored a brace and Son got a goal for Tottenham. However, Lanzini came off the bench to dash Tottenham’s hopes of winning by scoring a stoppage time goal.
Jose Mourinho’s side started the game strongly as Son got a goal within a minute of the starting of the game. Harry Kane gave a superb over the top pass for Son who cut inside and hit a delightful finish. Furthermore, Harry Kane scored a stunning second goal by nutmegging Declan Rice and hitting a beautiful finish past the goalkeeper.
Kane got another goal as he scored a stunning header from Reguilon’s cross. Although, West ham did try to put up some kind of fight, it wasn’t enough as Tottenham were happy to sit back having a 3-0 lead.
The second half continued on the same note with West Ham taking the initiative to score. In addition, Spurs brought on Bale for his homecoming debut this season in the 72nd minute. But, it went downhill from there for Spurs as Balbuena got a goal back for West Ham through a header. This was followed by own goal by Davinson Sanchez to bring the score to 3-2.
The match was on a knife edge at this point with both teams having a go at the goal. First, Bale went close but shot narrowly wide. This was followed by a stunning long range finish by Lanzini in the 94th minute to end the game at 3-3. Tottenham were visibly shell shocked after the game and will hope to recover for the Europa League clash on Thursday.
