At the end of a high intensity game at Stamford Bridge, here are our Chelsea vs Liverpool Player Ratings.

The game never stopped at Stamford Bridge, It was a high intensity start from Chelsea but mistakes cost them as Liverpool went 2-0 up before 40 minutes. However, Chelsea stormed back into the game with two goals before the end of the half time to make it 2-2.

Both teams started the second half with an intent to score the goal. Chelsea pinned Liverpool several times whereas Liverpool did the same. However, they could not find the fruitful result as the goalkeepers were at their resolute best.

Eduoard Mendy (6/10): Though he conceded goals, Eduoard Mendy kept Chelsea in the game with his vital saves. He was called into action several times throughout the high intensity fixture. 

Nathaniel Chalobah (5.8/10): Chalobah had a poor game against Chelsea. He was found napping several times and his error even ended up letting a goal for Liverpool. 

Thiago Silva (6/10): The former Paris St Germain player was key for Chelsea in the defense as he held nerves in several junctures of the Liverpool attack. 

Antonio Rudiger (6.3/10): The player who is always in news due to his contract issues, Rudiger was the best defender for Chelsea on the pitch. He had an aerial header and tackle to his name. 

Marcos Alonso (7.2/10): The left wing back produced an attacking master class against the Merseysiders. He dribbled past the Liverpool defense and was involved in the build up to the second goal. 

Cesar Azpilicueta (6.7/10): Cesar Azpilicueta was key for Chelsea with his fine tackles on the right flank and winning fouls when Liverpool seemed too hot to handle. 

Matteo Kovacic (7.8/10): When nobody expected Chelsea to score, Kovacic scored a stunner of a goal in the first half to halve the deficit. Also, he was key in winning the midfield duels against Salah and Jota. 

N’Golo Kante (7.5/10): The bulwark in the midfield, N Golo Kante helped Chelsea to recover the lost possession. He had a pass success rate of 85% in the game. 

Mason Mount (6.1/10): The English playmaker had a poor game compared to his standards against Merseysiders. He had a poor pass percentage and lost possession thrice. 

Christian Pulisc (7.1/10): Pulisic had several chances to score the goal in the initial minutes of the first half but he could not .However, he found the back of the net before halftime to help his side make 2-2.

Sebastian Kelleher (6.2/10): The youngster filled the boots of Alisson who is out with COVID. Kelleher pulled several saves that kept Liverpool’s clean sheet intact. However, nobody could have saved Kovacic’s shot and Pulisic’s goal. 

Kostas Tsimikas (6.4/10): In the absence of Andy Robertson, Kostas Tsimikas kept the opposition pinned with his daunting runs. He had two aerial duels to his name. 

Virgil van Dijk (6.7/10): The central defender calmed the defense when they conceded two in the final moments of the first half. However, he conceded goals where he was found napping. 

Ibrahima Konate (6/10): Konate came in for Joel Matip who was out due to COVID. In the absence of Matip, Konate performed decently to ensure Liverpool was in contention. 

Trent Alexander Arnold (7/10): The English full back made his presence felt with his dangerous crosses and play making from the midfield. He had an assist to his name after he found Mane from deep midfield. 

Jordan Henderson (6.5/10): The war veteran was key in the midfield with his marshalling and passing abilities. Henderson had 92% success rate in passing against Chelsea. 

Fabinho (6.2/10): Fabinho did all the dirty work in the midfield and even made several blocks inside his own box to keep Chelsea attackers at bay. 

James Milner (6.4/10): Milner was key for Liverpool in the first half with his presence helping them to calm things down. He won three tackles before getting subbed.
