Also known as the Rotterdam Open, ABN AMRO Open is a men’s tennis tournament to be played on indoor hard courts. It takes place annually at the Rotterdam Ahoy in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.
This year it scheduled to be held between 1 and 9 February 2025. It will be the 52nd edition of the Rotterdam Open, and part of the ATP Tour 500 series on the 2025 ATP Tour.
The Rotterdam Open is one of the 16 ATP Tour 500 tournaments. It is named after its main sponsor- ABN AMRO Bank N.V., the third-largest Dutch bank.
The tournament also includes a wheelchair tennis singles and doubles draw for both men and women. Since 2009, the Rotterdam Open has organised Europe’s biggest indoor wheelchair tennis tournament.
World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz will be making his Rotterdam Open debut this year. Several other top players like the winner 2023 Daniil Medvedev, 2021 winner Alex de Minaur, and Andrey Rublev will also be competing in this tournament.
Prize money for 2025 ABN AMRO Open in singles and doubles
The prize money for the 2025 ABN AMRO Open is €2,401,550 and the total financial commitment is €2,563,150. This is a significant increase from 2024 where the prize money for the ABN AMRO Open was €2,134,985 and the total financial commitment is €2,290,720.
The previous year’s champion Jannik Sinner will unfortunately not play the tournament this year. The Italian cited the need to rest after winning his second Australian Open title last week as the reason for not playing at Rotterdam Open.
