Serena Williams is just one Grand Slam title away from levelling up with Margaret Court’s record of 24 Majors. Even though the American hasn’t won a Slam since Australian Open 2017, she has continued to add more and more achievements to her mantle. 

Most recently, Williams headlined the Fast Company’s Most Productive People List. The 39-year-old received this honour due to her ability to maintain on-court dominance whilst balancing the personal life with various business ventures. Alexis Ohanian, Williams’ husband applauded this very feat by congratulating his wife on twitter.

Ohanian’s praise for Serena

Serena is one of the deserving candidates for the award. For instance, she was the Chief Sporting Officer at Aston Martin. Further, she launched her own fashion line called S by Serena in 2019. In addition, she is on the Board of Directors at the company, Survey Monkey. On top of all of this, Serena has a daughter, Olympia, who is now three-years-old. Williams’ ability to multitask whilst not collapsing in any filed is commended by all, especially by Alexis.

Citing the reason for being as thoroughly involved as she is, Serena declared, “It’s really good for me. Because at the end of the day I can say how much time I spent on each area of her life. And how it adds up. I want my percentage with my daughter to be a lot.”

Williams will be seen opening her bid for her 24th Major title at the Australian Open 2021
