PUBG Mobile has established itself to become one of the most acclaimed battle-royale game. It’s popularity does not seem to be ceasing and it is creating new milestones over the recent years. In July 2021, PUBG Mobile became the highest grossing game leaving behind other popular games such as Free Fire and Genshin Impact.

Keeping aside the popularity of the game, it is also important to note that many incidents of cheating and hacking in PUBG Mobile have come into light. Hackers are repeatedly gaining an unfair advantage over other players and hindering the free and fair atmosphere of the battle-royale game. In order to counter this, PUBG Mobile had introduced the anti cheat system.

The anti-cheat system identifies and publishes weekly reports about those players who are winning the matches through unfair means. This article discusses the report published on 28th August,2021.

PUBG Mobile anti cheat system bans more than 1.4 million hackers this week!

The ban pan program introduced in the anti-cheat system of PUBG Mobile publishes weekly reports to inform other players about the accounts that have been banned and also the primary reason which led to the banning of accounts. It also encourage the players to report about those players who are caught cheating. Just like other weeks, the officials have published a weekly report that it has banned more than 1,418,839 accounts from August 20 – August 26.

Character model modification was the main reason for the ban of this week’s accounts. This week’s ban has seen a tremendous increase from the previous week’s ban which was around 1,197,429.

Banned accounts respective to their rank tiers

  • Conqueror – 1%
  • Ace – 9%
  • Crown – 16%
  • Diamond – 17%
  • Platinum – 12%
  • Gold – 8%
  • Silver – 9%
  • Bronze – 28%

Most of the players banned were of Bronze Tier, which is the lowest tier who used miscellaneous hacks to increase their rank. Banned players belonging to Diamond tier have also increased.

As we can see, the primary reason for the accounts that got banned was Modification of Character Model.
