PUBG Mobile is considered as one of the top-leading mobile game in the world. It has set new standards for battle-royale due to the unique content released at regular intervals by the developers.
The game is dominating the overall revenue charts consecutively beating other equally popular battle-royale titles such as Garena Free Fire and Genshin Impact. Even after the game is banned in several countries like India and Bangladesh, it attracts new fanbase with each passing day. The game is creating new milestones everyday as the eSports industry of PUBG Mobile has also grown rapidly.
Inspite of this, the developers are constantly facing trouble due to the frequent number of hackers in the game. To maintain a sustainable gaming platform for every player, the developers of PUBG Mobile had introduced an anti-cheat system that rectifies and bans all cheaters in the game.
PUBG Mobile anti cheat system bans 9.4 lakh accounts this week!
The anti-cheat system introduced under the ban pan program keeps a track of the players at real time and bans those who are caught using unfair means. Just like other weeks, the officials have published a weekly report under the anti-cheat system that it has banned more than 942,345 accounts from September 10th-16th.

Just like previous week, most of the accounts got banned due to the use of character modification, Tencent strictly prohibits the use of third party sources in the game. This week’s ban has seen a slight decrease compared to the previous week’s ban which was 1,026,448.
Banned accounts respective to their rank tiers
- Conqueror – 1%
- Ace – 12%
- Crown – 17%
- Diamond – 15%
- Platinum – 11%
- Gold – 8%
- Silver – 9%
- Bronze – 27%
Most of the players banned were of Bronze Tier, which is the lowest tier who used miscellaneous hacks to increase their rank. Banned players belonging to Diamond have also increased.
Breakdown of cheats used this week
- Speed hacks:>> 15%
- Modification of character model:>> 33%
- X-Ray vision:>> 17%
- Modification of Area Damage:>> 15%
- Auto-Aim:>> 16%
- Others:>> 4%
As we can see, the primary reason for the accounts that got banned was Modification of Character Model.
