Despite all the efforts of firing Robert Saleh and acquiring Davante Adams, the New York Jets continue to walk the path of a losing season. Coming off a blowout loss against the Arizona Cardinals, they have sunk to second-last place in the AFC East division with a poor 3-7 record.
Just a week earlier, they had finally ended their five-game losing streak, celebrating a decisive victory where veteran wide receiver Adams taunted fans for criticizing him without giving him enough time to settle into the new offense. However, their momentum quickly dissipated as they struggled to score more than 6 points at State Farm Stadium while allowing the Cardinals to score 31 points.
As their playoff hopes blur out, tensions appear to be stemming between the Green Gang players and their frustrated fan base. The players are increasingly frustrated with constant criticism, prompting linebacker Quincy Williams to respond by sending a threatening message to the Jets fans.

Williams finished Sunday’s game with 10 total tackles, including three solo and 1.0 sacks. It marked his second game of this 2024 season with a double-digit tackle record, increasing his total to 74 tackles.
Quincy Williams delivers devastating sack to Cardinals’ QB Kyler Murray
Besides his controversial threatening message to his own fanbase, Williams also made headlines for bringing down the Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray with a powerful sack, that made his helmet fly away.
It happened in the second quarter of the game when the Jets linebacker rushed the passer unblocked and easily got into the backfield. He straightaway went to tackle the opposing quarterback and hit him with a powerful blow, making him fall to the ground.
This defensive explosion would not have taken place if Williams had been properly guarded. However, due to some miscommunication on the Cardinal’s part, he was left unblocked and he capitalized on the opportunity. After Murray fell on the turf, his helmet landed at least five yards away.
Unfortunately, this sack did little to benefit New York much, as just three plays later, quarterback Murray threw a touchdown pass aimed at Marvin Harrison Jr. after getting up from being sacked for the only time in the game.
