Rafael Nadal is currently preparing himself for the 2021 season as he has started his pre-season training. The Spaniard was to be found in his own Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca last week, where he started his training. However, Rafael Nadal has often accompanied his training with some other activities.

Rafael Nadal posted pictures of him accompanied by his friends and wife, Mery taking a weekend getaway to climb the mountains of Mallorca. The 20 time Grandslam champion has liked the experience so much that he has again climbed the mountains, this time with his coach, Carlos Moya.

Rafael Nadal’s manager has confirmed that the Spaniard will travel to Melbourne for the Australian Open, 2021. the Australian Open 2021 was delayed for about three weeks and is now scheduled to begin from February 8, with strict quarantine protocols in place. Rafael Nadal has stepped up his training ahead of the next season, and is combining on court practice with other activities.

The Spaniard will arrive in Melbourne, seeking his second Australian Open title. His only Australian Open title came in 2009 when he defeated Roger Federer in the final in five sets. Ever since, the Spaniard has lost four Grandslam finals at the Rod Laver Arena. He would be hoping to have a better performance at the Australian Open next year, and claim a record 21st Grandslam title.
