The third match on the Elimination Chamber card featured Kevin Owens facing Sami Zayn in an unsanctioned match. The Toronto crowd was hot for its countrymen, and the two superstars didn’t disappoint each other. Justifying their long history, the two superstars put on a violent match that featured the former Universal Champion coming out on top. There was no time for him to celebrate, as Randy Orton would soon make his much-anticipated return.
Even after winning the match, Owens did not stop attacking his frenemy. He even ripped out the mats on the outside and was about to hit a package piledriver on Zayn. However, Orton’s music hit, and he made his much-anticipated return to WWE. The Viper was looking for revenge after the Canadian took him out with a piledriver months ago.
After a brief staredown, the Apex Predator laid Kevin Owens out with an RKO. He grabbed the ropes near the turnbuckle and teased going for his iconic punt kick. He began running, and right as he was about to connect, security got in the way and dragged Orton away from his enemy.

Regardless, this did not stop Randy Orton from making the crowd happy. He started to hit an RKO one by one on the security guards that had pushed him away from the former Universal Champion. A hilarious moment occurred when he offered a handshake to one of the guards but caught him by surprise with another devastating RKO.
What are Randy Orton’s plans for WrestleMania 41?
The WWE Universe could not be more happy to see Randy Orton back on their screen. Furthermore, this was perfect timing for the Legend Killer to make his return, considering that he can now be involved in a high-profile match for WrestleMania. The promotion also has enough time to give his bout a solid build-up before April 19th and 20th.

According to PWInsider Elite, Orton will be a major player for WWE on their European tour during WrestleMania season. These events in Europe continue to get more and more stacked. The promotion recently announced dates for Roman Reigns‘ return during these shows, and it seems that the Viper will be a part of them too.
Although there is no substantial report about his WrestleMania opponent, the most likely candidate is still Kevin Owens. Their story dates back over a year when they participated in a triple threat match against Logan Paul at WrestleMania XL for the United States Championship. They were also allies in their mutual fight against The Bloodline.
They were scheduled for a singles match at Crown Jewel, which never took place due to a preceding brawl. However, fans will likely get to witness this matchup properly, this time at the Showcase of the Immortals.
