Randy Orton will face Alexa Bliss at WWE Fastlane

Orton has been involved in a long feud with The Fiend Bray Wyatt since last year. The duo last faced off against each other at WWE TLC in December, 2020. Randy Orton defeated The Fiend by burning him during the Firefly Inferno match.

The Fiend has not been seen on the WWE TV since TLC. But the feud has continued in his absence. Alexa Bliss has filled in for The Fiend and has even involved a dark magic angle. Alexa Bliss has been getting inside Orton’s head by using some mystical powers. She even made Orton vomit black liquid during multiple segments.

On the latest episode of WWE Raw, Bliss appeared on a segment of Alexa’s Playground. Bliss said that she wanted to give Orton an opportunity to stop Bliss from playing the mindgames, and challenged him for a match at Fastlane.

Randy Orton accepted Alexa’s challenge. He will be facing Bliss in a one-on-one match at WWE Fastlane.

The match card for WWE’s upcoming PPV looks completely packed. Six matches have been announced and three of these are Championship matches.

  • Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan (WWE Universal Championship match)
  • Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs. Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship)
  • Big E vs. Apollo Crews (WWE Intercontinental Championship)
  • Randy Orton vs. Alexa Bliss
  • Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus

The match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan will be having a special guest enforcer. Edge will be facing Jey Uso on Smackdown, the winner will become the special enforcer for the Universal Championship match.  

WWE Fastlane airs live on 21st March, 2021.
