The quarterback is without a question the most essential role in football. The NFL has moved away from the typical run-first strategy and toward a throw-first, score-fast mindset. As a result, we’ve witnessed an increase in the number of quarterbacks who succeed at both throwing and sprinting.

Baker Mayfield was shielded by the Cleveland Browns early on in the campaign, but after Stefanski freed up the offense, he flourished. Baker’s red zone effectiveness was the most remarkable aspect of his play. Baker will have all of his top offensive players back in 2021. He is protected by the top offensive front in the league and the finest running back combo in the league.

8. Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson didn’t match his MVP performance from last season, but he also didn’t suffer as much as many expected. After not receiving the same level of help in an offense in transitioning, he produced down the stretch to guarantee a Ravens’ postseason return. Until he established his late flow, he was the league’s most deadly runner at the post. Jackson did have his first postseason win, and with a new passing game to complement the better conventional running approach, he should be able to get back on track as a passer.

7. Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray may be little in height, but he compensates for it with his flexibility. He’s got a strong arm that has already snatched a few of the games for the Cardinals. Patrick Mahomes is a marvel, and amidst the Chiefs’ defeat to the Buccaneers in the Super Bowl last season, there isn’t a quarterback a team would prefer to have with the ball in his arms and a touchdown on the line. He can perform the razzle-dazzle better than any QB, but he also excels at the minor factors, thanks to his powerful arm. Despite having a remarkably productive MVP season and a Super Bowl MVP on his profile, Mahomes hasn’t yet reached his limit.
