Rapper Joe Budden claims Caitlin Clark ‘hell lot better’ than Angel Reese as rivalry heats up

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have two of the most contrasting playstyles in the WNBA, yet the ongoing rivalry between them has divided fans. Rapper Joe Budden recently weighed in on the situation, offering his perspective in an attempt to put the debate to rest.

Joe Budden went viral on social media for his rookie choice between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. After what appeared to be careful consideration and deep breaths, Budden, despite his usual pro-Black stance, ultimately endorsed Caitlin Clark. He went on to compare the contrast between Reese and Clark to the dynamic between Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman, mentioning the stark differences in their playstyles and personalities.

I'm telling y'all, and I’m not trying to cause a kerfuffle, Caitlin Clark is a hell of a lot better than Angel Reese.
Joe Budden said

While both Jordan and Rodman are Hall of Famers, the former is considered the NBA GOAT. Conversely, Rodman’s supremacy is believed in rebounding and defending.

Speaking of rebounding, Budden further noted that nobody ever compared Rodman’s rebounding to Jordan’s. In a damage control measure, he went ahead to mention how Reese was grabbing all the charts. Coherently he mentioned her new podcast and the ‘Reese’s Pieces’ deal.

As for Caitlin Clark, Joe Budden reasoned that she had taken her game to the next level ever since she was snubbed off of the Olympic games. The overall stats also might be heavier on Clark’s side as she dominated all rookies through all 31 WNBA games.

Apparently, most sports book are no longer offering the option to bet between the two players, reason being the majority votes gained by the Indiana Fever sensation.

According to reports, sportsbooks like DraftKings, ESPN Bet, and FanDuel have removed the option to bet on the award due to Caitlin Clark’s overwhelming favoritism. However, BetMGM has kept the option open, and with some time remaining in the WNBA regular season, Angel Reese has also been gaining votes.

The second half of the 2024 WNBA season is at its zenith and the two rookie candidates keep on turning the heat up. No matter the result, nobody can deny that both players have been strong contenders in the race.
