The WWE Universe was met with the shocking news of Bobby Lashley not being included in the internal roster. Chances are he will leave the Stamford-based company as soon as his contract expires in a few weeks. Having said that, the real reason behind him leaving WWE has reportedly been revealed. 

According to the latest report from PWInsider, WWE apparently did offer him a contract to re-sign with him. However, the offer wasn’t enticing enough for The Almighty to sign it. He declined their current offer to see what he was worth on the market. Along with him, Lashley’s Hurt Business teammate MVP and Tamina also weren’t included on the internal roster.

Former WWE Champion Big E took to X and sent a wholesome message after the news of him possibly leaving the company spread like wildfire. Bobby Lashley was supposed to participate in the King of the Ring Tournament, but he was removed due to an undisclosed injury. His teammate Angelo Dawkins replaced him, but he unfortunately got eliminated in the first round by Tama Tonga.

The Almighty last faced Karrion Kross in a dark Street Fight, defeating him on the April 19 episode of SmackDown. During his second WWE run, he won the WWE Championship and the United States Championship. Moreover, he also won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last year. Hence, fans are excited to see how he performs in other promotions.
