Dijak completely rejuvenated himself when he returned to NXT after his first disastrous run on the main roster. Many fans wanted to see him succeed on the main roster after he was called up to Raw back in April. However, he was released from WWE after his contract expired on June 28. The mention of opening the door and discussing a four-hour drive was related to AEW. Following his message, many fans speculated that he might appear at the upcoming Forbidden Door event on Long Island. Recently, he made his first post-WWE appearance at Blitzkrieg Pro under the name Donovan Dijak.
Interestingly, a few days ago, Fightful Select reported that the negotiations for a contract extension between him and WWE were considered positive. Unfortunately, WWE denied him that at the last minute. Fans have been excited to see how he performs as a free agent.
