Adrian Newey, the chief technological officer at Red Bull Racing is considered as an overall genius in car designing and aerodynamics and he sure would not be disappointing the fans this time around.

The ongoing pre-season Formula 1 test in Barcelona would be the first time for the fans to get an insight into the 2022 cars based on the new regulations. Fans are left disappointed as the Barcelona test was conducted under the wraps without any sort of broadcasting. However, this has not prevented the fans from getting a sneak peek of the new Red Bull car for the 2022 season.

The fans were a bit disappointed after the Milton Keyes based outfit released their showcar earlier in February with the same old livery. However, to their surprise, their spirits were quickly lifted today after they spotted the RB18 with the most radical and aggressive design on track.

Anxiety and tension would be running high among the constructors as they move into uncertain territory. The new regulations have steered the teams into an unknown place and it is crucial that the teams nail the regulations right the first time around as it may lead them to a path of domination, similar to the one shown by Mercedes in the Hybrid era. In this regards during the launch of RB18 Christian Horner said,

“We are aiming to build on what we achieved last year. The target is to try to retain the title. The big unknown is have we missed something with these regulations and has someone else stolen a march?,” said Horner.
